Natural support for your

gut & hormones

Rediscovering what life can look and feel like through compassionate care, comprehensive testing, and customized protocol

Hello there!

I am Dr. Meaghan. I am a Grimsby-based Naturopathic Doctor who has been where you are before.

I knew something was not right. I didn’t feel like myself but couldn’t put my finger on what was wrong. All of my blood work was normal, but I didn’t feel normal. I tried various supplements, protocols, and diets that were supposed to fix the problem, but nothing worked.

Not until I sat down and really looked at what my problems were and not just the label I had been given. With the help of some comprehensive testing I was able to pinpoint the exact source of my problems and from there was able to formulate a protocol to correct them.

This is the approach I bring to my practise. Dive deep into what is not right in your health. Dive into your history and health journey. Order testing to fill in the missing pieces of information. And formulate a plan that is customized to you and your health journey.

Our process

step 1

This step is to dive deep into your symptoms and your history. During your naturopathic intake, we will:

  • complete an in-depth assessment of your concerns

  • review any health history, nutritional & lifestyle factors that may be impacting those concerns

  • review any other areas of health that you would also like to improve

  • determine the need for functional testing/blood work to help diagnose or monitor

step 2

This step is all about establishing a plan based on your assessment and any labs. The plan will be both short and long term which includes:

  • customized vitamin, supplement, or herbal recommendations

  • a tailored dietary strategy that supports the phase of treatment you are in
  • other support if needed
  • and strategies to monitor success

step 3

Recovery takes time, your health is a journey, and follow-up visits allow us to ensure we’re in the right direction. These visits help to:

  • monitor treatment progress & efficacy

  • determine follow-up testing

  • provide accountability & support

  • track our long-term goals & new symptoms or concerns that arise along the way

With the rise in fatigue, brain fog, and poor memory I always start at the beginning, sleep. Sleep is foundational for your brain power and energy levels. That’s not a shocking statement right? When you sleep poorly you know that you are not going to be the best version of yourself the next day.

Irritable bowel syndrome is a term that has been thrown around a lot in the last number of years. 7-21% of the global population has been diagnosed with IBS as of 2016.

Have you ever just felt “off”? Not like yourself? Now have you told your doctor this? Have they checked your thyroid and said it is “fine”? Have they just told you that your symptoms are just a normal part of ageing? You are not alone.

It is time...
